REMEMBRANCES  – Add names of deceased who you remember in prayer to the basket in the center aisle of the church.

HAVE YOU NOTICED the two stained glass crosses flanking the Text Box: Christ the King statue in the Commons?  They are the skilled handiwork and donation of Rosalie Fratto.  Thank you, Rosalie!

TRIM THE TREE PARTY – will be held on 12/20, with a pot luck dinner following the trimming of the Church.   We will begin at 4:30 P.M.  and dinner will be at 5:30 P.M..  There will be a sign-up sheet in the Commons.  Please sign up to bring a dish to share.  Also, we would appreciate help!!!

IN SYMPATHY – Christ the King Parish family extends our sympathy to Larry and Mary Kay Pionk and their family on the November 3rd death of Larry’s father, Roman; and to Jere, Lori & Kristen Maggart on the November 17th death of Jere’s mother.  May they rest in the peace of Christ.

THANK YOU – The Community Outreach Committee wants to thank the parish for its response to the recent fund request to provide Thanksgiving meals to six needy families.  The total collected was $2,051.65, which will provide the meals plus allow us to donate more than $1,500 to EFIA, which at this time is turning away families with emergency electric and heating fuel needs due to lack of funding.  Your generosity is overwhelming!

PARISH COUNCIL APPRECIATIONS:

  • Thank YOU! All who helped and participated in Social Club;
  • Josie Campbell and Rosalie Fratto, and all who assisted with the church yard sale;
  • Kate Jacob for all her time and the work she does with the youth in religious education;
  • The staining of the wooden seating around the tree in front of the church and the picnic table on the deck;
  • All who helped with the food celebration for the AHS football team.
